Marshall Fire Restoration

Marshall Fire Cleanup

"On Dec. 30, 2021, the Marshall Fire swept through the City of Louisville, Town of Superior, and unincorporated Boulder County, destroying and damaging more than 1,000 homes and over 30 commercial structures."

We have been clearing lots and getting people on to the rebuild. We have had crews removing debris and hydro seeding finished lots. We have 4 teams in the field and have cleared over 25 lots.

hitchingpost remediation

Hitchingpost Cheyenne Remediation

We did an open air abatement on this old hotel, 5 stories, demolition. Significant approval from health dept. and EPA. The Building was on fire too many times. Nothing was salvageable. Normally we build contaminants and remove asbestos but bc buildings have been structurally unsound with burning, we were granted a waiver from EPA to do it. No visible emissions, other than water vapor, wet and package the demo degree, wrapped in two layers of plastic before disposed as asbestos waste. Tons of debris. 100 or more dumpsters out. After the building was taken down, we tested soil.

Rio Grande Fire Clean up

The Rio Grande is a Historic building and restaurant in downtown Fort Collins famous for margaritas. A Kitchen fire burned the kitchen down. In the process of putting out fire, the disturbed asbestos created a spill. We had to do abatement, demo, and lead paint cleanup. We also did inventory for kitchen equipment, and inventory for all equipment for insurance claim. Used QR code system- high tech inventory system- for everything removed, to see what goes to disposal or storage. At the end there is inventory for insurance claim.

There was smoke damage so we had to clean all the building, the walls, demo the kitchen, dining room, for smoke and lead paint debris. 2 part system used for odor control. It was a historical building so we couldnt just rip things out.

Help preserve dearfield

Helped Preserve Dearfield

Today, only a few structures remain in Dearfield, and the settlement is considered a ghost town. However, the history of Dearfield remains an important part of African American history, and the site is being preserved as a reminder of the determination and resilience of its founder and residents.

For this job, we sorted through the fallen walls and pieces for them to rebuild the fallen structure. The structure that was still standing we shored it in an attempt to keep it standing.

Two overhead cranes. They were 200 ton interior cranes, only a few companies in the world service these cranes. Lead paint issue so needed a lead abatement. We needed to strip the lead paint. Needed to repaint with isocyanate paint, so needed to be hazmat certified. We stripped paint, removed asbestos, cut and ground plates, needed to build contaminants that were fifty feet up in air to get paint off.
